DATASHEET

KIT SUMMARY

The paxillin phospho-ser/thr regulation antibody kit can be used to detect phosphorylation of paxillin at Ser-83, Ser-178, and Thr-538 relative to total paxillin expression. The kit includes mouse monoclonal and rabbit polyclonal antibodies to detect paxillin expression, as well as secondary reagents for detection in western blot.

Western blot analysis of PC12 cells untreated (lanes 1 & 3) or treated with NGF (200 ng/ml) for 60 min (lanes 2 & 4). The blots were probed with mouse monoclonal anti-Paxillin (PM1071; lane 1 & 2) or rabbit polyclonal anti-Paxillin (Ser-83) phospho-specific antibody (lane 3 & 4).

Western blot analysis of human A431 cells treated with Calyculin A (100 nm) for 30 min (lanes 1-6). The blot was treated with lambda phosphatase (lanes 2, 4, & 6), then probed with rabbit polyclonal anti-Paxillin (C-terminal; PP1161) (lanes 1 & 2), anti-phospho-Paxillin (Thr-538; PP4491) (lanes 3 & 4), and mouse monoclonal anti-Paxillin (PM1071) (lanes 5 & 6).

Mouse monoclonal and rabbit polyclonal antibodies are supplied in phosphate-buffered saline, 50% glycerol, 1 mg/ml BSA, and 0.05% sodium azide. Store all at –20°C. Stable for 1 year.

The products are are safely shipped at ambient temperature for both domestic and international shipments. Each product is guaranteed to match the specifications as indicated on the corresponding technical data sheet. Please store at -20C upon arrival for long term storage.

*All molecular weights (MW) are confirmed by comparison to Bio-Rad Rainbow Markers and to western blot mobilities of known proteins with similar MW.
